50 day count down

As of today, I have 50 days left in the US. There are a lot of things planned (due to the crazy cultural holidays of November and December and good-bye quality time with people I love), so I want to document them and cherish those last, special memories- no matter how small or extravagant.

Day 50
A Sunday to love!

There aren't many Sundays that are this relaxing. I cherish a quiet afternoon filled with small things that I really love:

. my house- alone, quiet, my space
. my big green couch
. the tv on a random movie I've never seen
. the fireplace on
. activities on a tv tray: addressing Christmas card envelopes, magazines I've saved until a relaxing moment, the remote control, my phone
. a Tervis Tumbler with cold water
. my computer- for blogging, checking email, looking up Christmas card addresses
. an afternoon to do whatever I please!

I went to church this morning, went to lunch with my Core Group at Newks, and came home to have time to myself! I'm so thankful for today.

And a night of decking the halls!

Because I've gotten rid of and stored most everything that was in my house, I don't have my Christmas decorations. After much prodding from those in my life that LOVE Christmas, I put up a tree that was loaned to me. I did find a manger scene that was my mothers' (that I keep up all year round) and put that under the small festive tree. Merry Christmas, day 50!
