Can't wait to begin this journey of a life-time. I've been packing, filing and getting my details in order. I try to be an organized person- especially when traveling- so this MOVE is throwing my organizational bend out of control. I guess this is a good way to begin a new year- cleaning out, packing up, preparing for change. It's so strange not knowing what's around the corner. I have no idea who my friends will be, what my days will look like, where I'll be living... oh the unknown! For someone who doesn't mind 'change,' this is thrilling!
Southern New Year's Dinner.
The Woods invited me to share their New Year's Day traditional dinner. We had ham, greens, black-eyed-peas, deviled eggs, corn bread and a variety of desserts. It was so fun kicking off 2010 with sweet friends and great, Southern food!
After dinner, Jennifer and I got down to Guidance Team business. She's going to help with a lot of details of my house and prayer updates while I'm gone to South Africa. It's a blessing to have them behind me and part of this journey. I pray the whole Guidance Team is blessed by this mission as I have already been by their participation.
