Today I had such a sweet time with a long lost friend, Preston. Preston & I once worked together in ministry & have been connected by the heart ever since- you know that kind of friend that you see only rarely but that you pick up & are honest with like time never passed. Preston came to Living Hope Teens Club in Capricorn with me today. I walked him around that wonderful place, introduced him to my friends and kids/teens that I work with and had him jump in & play music with our teens! It was a beautiful sight & sound!
After Club, we went to the beach & just chatted about life & Christ & caught up! It was a precious few hours for me. I love Preston's search for Truth, himself & significance. He always makes me think. I loved sharing a piece of my life here with him but I'm even more grateful for old friends & constant encouragement from the Lord right when I need it!
