a few of my favorite things...

Slowly I've been able to hangout with some of my friends from Birmingham - going to lunches or meeting for coffee - seems everything revolves around food here. I forgot how 'consumer driven' this culture is. I'm really overwhelmed by all the sights, sounds and food. It's only been a year, but oh what a difference a year can make.



I've missed my younger-friends - those girls I loved pouring my time and spiritual energy into.
It's been great to catch up with some of girls; I grill them about their lives and what's happened since I've left. I'm glad they let me just jump back in! And the Mexican food was an added bonus!
