South Africa's Heritage Day

Today, Monday 24 Sept, is a South African Public Holiday: Heritage Day. Begun by the Zulus of SA & then adopted by other SA cultures, this day is set aside to celebrate the vastly unique history and traditions of this country!

I celebrated by packing a picnic & heading to a beach-overlook. I read, relaxed & took a breather! Much needed & much appreciated!

Thanking the Lord for this day to celebrate South African History & its variety of people! Pray that all cultures represented in SA will hear the Good News of Christ & come to a saving relationship with Him!
