My dear old friend Maggie saved me the first flower out of her garden - a bright red carnation. I was greatly humored when Maggie kept calling my cell phone asking me when I was going to come by and get my flower. She persisted until I drove to Capricorn and came to her home for a visit.
It was just one flower. Yet, Maggie's care and thought meant more than a million dollars. It's the little things like this that make life here so meaningful. I'm honored to be the receiver of such gifts from my Father in heaven: Friendship and family represented in the Body of Believers is more valuable than anything this world can offer!
