Pickled Fish Season here in SA

South African Easter Tradition : Pickled Fish. 
My dear, old friend Maggie came over and made Pickled Fish with me. 


ingredients: Pickled Fish packet of spices, sugar, oil, vinegar, curry powder, salt

Kabeljou fish

Recipe on back of spice box + fish floured and spiced

Maggie frying

spices mulling with onion and green pepper

almost done ... pour spice onion mixture over fish and let sit for DAYS in the frig


Finished product + sliced bread with butter!
