Many of you may be aware of the Christian Music coming out of the Hillsong Church. Their latest album, Zion, is a must-have. Its lyrics will make your worship experience dive deep into conversation with God.
Our city of Cape Town was recently invaded with Hillsong's ministry. Hillsong Church has a Cape Town campus and for the third year hosted their Sisterhood Colour Conference. Hillsong Colour is led by the amazing Bobbie Houston, Hillsong mother and pastor/pastor's wife from Australia.
Hillsong Cape Town was generous enough to give our Capricorn Church Ladies Ministry deeply discounted tickets AND sent transportation to our community to get us to the conference each day. Unbelievably honored to have servant-hearted churches helping each other!
This year at Colour, one of my all-time favorite speakers, Priscilla Shirer, brought the Word of God not once but twice! I was praying and asking God to renew me and give me a profound Word from Him during this conference and boy did He!
Thankful to Hillsong for their ministry in South Africa and around the world.
Thankful to Judy, our Pastor's wife, for organizing this shindig for our Ladies Ministry!
Thankful to have a church where women of God seeking to know Him more!

… also note, Hillsong gathered all their small church-plants for the Sunday following the Colour Conference. Priscilla Shirer spoke to the night service … and you can bet I made the track in my little car with 2 of my youth girls, my room-mate Meagan and our Pastor's wife, Judy! It was an amazing conclusion and encouragement - Priscilla spoke about spiritual warfare using Gideon and his strategy of battle. She's coming out with a new study on Gideon very soon. Looking forward to that!
