Motivation from South African football (soccer) star : Diego Brown

Diego Brown, professional football player in South Africa, came to Capricorn Community Church Youth last week. Diego grew up in Ocean View with Meagan (our Youth Leader). In needing to remind our youth of their future goals and perseverance in a Christian-walk, Meagan asked Diego to come pay a motivational visit.

Diego has a powerful testimony of God transforming his family and the importance of working with God-given talent. Diego encouraged our Youth to get in the Word, claim God's promise of His plan and purpose, know who you are in Christ, and to protect the goals/vision God gives you.

I was thrilled to have a successful young man challenge our youth to carry on with God's mission. Thankful for Diego's walk with the Lord and his perseverance to be a witness in professional sport!
