Going to Camp!

Our Jr. Youth are headed to "Camp." This weekend, 13-15 Sept, we'll take a group of 15 teens to join our local church-plant partners, Meadowridge Baptist for a Grade 6 and 7 retreat. I'm so thankful for this church! They try to include us as much as possible - giving our people new and fresh experiences we wouldn't have otherwise!

We had some tough requirements for this opportunity. Teens had to attend 9 out of 14 Sundays (from June-Aug), memorize 3 Bible verses, and help fund-raise for their camp fee. I was serious about these requirements. I made a few students sad because I held firm to these boundaries. But, those who worked hard appreciated the reward and are thankful for the opportunity!

Pray for this group as they are presented the Gospel and have sessions on understanding the Bible and Prayer. Meagan and Severo are leading Worship, I'm leading the session on Prayer, and we'll have lots of time to play and bond with this fabulous group of future leaders.

Pray for God's Spirit to move and transform us all!
