best day of class ever

at Sea World

Tuesday, July 22
Began the day at 5 am (Eastern Time). Breakfast was at 6 am; loaded the buses for Sea World at 6:30 am. Met at the Shamu stadium for our first session with SLU about THE PROCESS OF BUILDING TRUST and learning to MAKE A SPLASH!
Then we headed to the Shark Tank for a session on SHARK-LIKE CHARACTERISTICS- dealing with difficult people and developing people skills.
The environments were so neat. The lessons were really brought home when a visual as great as a killer whale and fearsome sharks are in front of you. We also went to the Dolphin Observatory and learned about the DNA OF A DOLPHIN. This session was a vast contrast between the shark discussion. These animals are vastly different and the dolphin's leadership and caring nature help it rise about the rest when in crisis.
After a very brief break when we got back to the hotel, we dove in to the Time Management lesson. After dinner we went over the DISC profile- evaluating individual leadership types. This was an intense and very lively session! In no surprise at all, I'm a high 'D' which is Dominance and in close second is "I" which is Influence and gathering a crowd!
Today was so useful to many things that will come in the future. God's plans are big, and I'm ready for action!

Me in the fish tank at Sea World, Orlando!
