Day 6

Tuesday, Jan 12

Olexa's lunch with the staff ladies crazies! Had so much fun seeing them again and felt so much freedom to be myself. Those gals are nuts too!

The Heaths had me over for dinner and to have play-time with the boys! Paula had gone to a lot of trouble to make an awesome dinner and prepare for my visit. I hated she put forth so much time and energy, but I really appreciated the lovely time with the Heaths.
After dinner, I got to play Gabe and Elijah on the Wii. We laughed and laughed and got really competitive. I'm 27 years old and wouldn't let the 6 year old win; I was going to give it my best and I did! After games and loud fun, Scott and Paula got the globe out, sat the boys down and had some 'South Africa question and answer time.' They asked: "What are you going to eat?" and "Will you be neighbors with Steven" (that's their Compassion International Child). FYI: Steven lives in Ghana... no where near South Africa. I showed them on the globe how far apart I'd be from AL and Ghana. Then, Gabe and Elijah prayed sweet prayers for me, followed by intentional ministry prayers from Scott and Paula. Baby Ben even folded his hands and said 'Amen' as much as he could. It was a sweet time of refreshment for me soul and a great memory to keep forever!
