A Beautiful Home + Warm (hot) Welcome

I arrived safely to my home in South Africa LATE Friday night/early Saturday morning. I've had a hard time with jet-lag & recovering from Flu and infection ... so my first weekend was a lot about sleep! It didn't help that the air in my house is constantly static and HOT. I'm very familiar with summer in Africa now.

Today was my first day at work. It was so nice to be welcomed back with squeals of excitement and hugs when my co-workers saw me; it was such a great and overwhelming feeling! I think I'll go away more often to know that I'm really appreciated (ha)! It was nice to be missed.

I'm thankful to be back with these great and challenging people. There's a lot of work to be done.
