18 Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
Often times we omit the instruction of baptizing because it's a command (act of obedience), not a requirement of salvation. However, this step is important when showing the Body of Christ as a unified, celebratory, thankful group.
Step one: Go
Step two: Make Disciples of all nations
Step three: Baptize them in the name of the trinity
Step four: Teach them to obey Jesus
Our church had the privilege of baptizing 4 youth on Sunday, 2 Dec. We're so excited about this act of obedience, and our church (together) is ready for part four: "teaching them to observe all I [Jesus] have commanded."
Praise God for the fruit of prayer and the ministry of Capricorn Community Church!
