Each year at the close of the calendar year, our church pauses to remember and thank God for what He's done. Each ministry is in charge of adding to the service in some way. This year we were really blessed to watch our congregation and ministry partners come together to celebrate and rejoice in God's goodness and faithfulness in 2012!
Our Worship Team led us in multi-cultural songs (covering lots of the nations represented in our church), Basil and Tayllin sang a duet and Tino gave a testimony (a great miracle of salvation happened in Tino's life this year!). Our Youth Guys Soccer Team was acknowledged and a few were given sportsmanship and character awards. Those baptized were recognize and given a 365 day devotion book and baptism certificate The Little Esthers Dance Ministry blessed us with a dance. The congregation prayed and thanked God multiple times during the service. One of my favorite parts of the service was when the Ladies' Ministry had us write Thanksgiving prayers on colorful leaves and attached them to a paper tree. By the end of the service, the Ladies had the tree ready to present to the church. It was a beautiful representation of the abundance of thanks that is in our hearts for the things God has done this year!
We praise the Lord for the seeds of faith that have been planted and watered this year! God bless you all who pray and contribute to this ministry. We were thanking the Lord for you during this service too!
