youth offered a variety of opportunities

In trying to meet the vast spiritual needs of a group of youth, we're offering a variety of growth opportunities on multiple levels:

- Common Interest Groups are attractive events to any youth. We change up the "interest" part & invite our committed, Believing Youth to bring non-Christian friends to enter a relationship with their Believing friends & the church. No Bible teaching is done; relationship building is the key. We basically set up our youth to be ministers to their friends … we provide the platform for them to speak to their friends about Christ in a relational way!

- Friday Youth reaches a wide audience - Believers and non-Believers. We do deep Bible teaching, praying the Word is powerful in both audiences. This environment is relaxed & welcomes the masses to study God's Word.

- Discipleship Groups are small and are gender separated. We deal with topical study and hold youth accountable to their commitment to being Christians. This is where we crack the whip and speak open and honestly to Believers! We're emphasizing GRACE and FAITHFULNESS together!

... And ... The first ever Disciples Challenge happened on Sunday:

- Disciples Challenge is meant to merge the gender-separated small groups and allow the "faithful followers" to go deeper in study of the Word of God. We're doing David Platt's Secret Church series on The New Testament! This is a chance for our youth to get a survey of the Bible. We're excited about our youth getting a new, solid foundation! In some cases we're having to uproot the old foundation of poor theology and old, myth-based religion. Praying God gives wisdom and revival to this group - to interpret scriptures and have eyes enlightened in the living and active Word!
