Sad may not be the best word for what I'm feeling. The last few months have been disappointing. While there have been highlights with the Shades University team and our 9-week interns on the ground, there have also been very hard things going on within our Youth, Church Leadership, and in our community. For the protection of those involved, I'm not at liberty to expose the hardships, but know that it's difficult, complicated stuff!
Life here in South Africa isn't rosy nor the life I've dreamed of, BUT I'm fighting spiritual battles and watching God be victorious in His perfect timing. Boy, am I learning a LOT ... and being stripped of selfishness and pride. The process of sanctification and pruning is alive and active in me! I'm praising God that He hasn't given up on me nor my community of Capricorn.
So, forgive me for my blog-silence. Its not intentional. I simply haven't had many words lately. I have some posts in formation for you. Ill report back soon!
Thank you for your continued support and prayers. They're definitely felt and needed!
