Still praising God before the miracles come!
Our Capricorn Community Church Day of Prayer and Fasting was fabulous. While our bodies were craving sustenance, our minds and spirits were united and comforted by our focus on the Lord.
We had a Night Service - where our congregation gathered and praised the Lord through song and prayer. Many gave testimonies of already answered prayer and encouragement to all in attendance to continue the race and trust in the Lord. Our service was short (in African time); in the words of Pastor Severo, "We've prayed all day, so there's no need to pray all night still … this service will be short and we'll have a cup of soup!" He makes me laugh!
I loved the unity that was displayed in our Body.
I loved the determination and perseverance shown.
I loved watching people hunger and thirst for more than physical things.
This Day of Prayer and Fasting turned on lights in our congregation. We are running after God's plan for our little church; not stopping for anything short of His best.
Continue to pray through the requests I posted previously. These are things that will take a long time in the human realm to see fruits of, but I'm waiting to watch God surprise us and blow us away with His miracles because we've asked!
Thank you to all who have sent messages and reminded me (and our church) that you are with us in spirit. I love that God unites hearts in His Body, the church. Honored to serve alongside you, my dear friends and supporters. The Kingdom is growing because of your faithfulness!
