- For team-work - that more than just a few would serve - for a mission and service-minded congregation
- for REVIVAL and renewed passion - for Spiritual awakening of the dry and weary souls in our church
- for our church's heart-beat and vision - Family Ministry and Discipleship. May our strategy in how this is accomplished be only from the Lord! May Capricorn see the need for the church and Jesus through restoration of family and being a true follower of Jesus Christ!
For Our Youth:
- for salvation through belief and commitment to Jesus
- for wise choices
- for Godly values and making their relationship with Jesus a priority
- for the ability to dream and make education a priority
- for Godly influences
- for their impact in their schools with their peers
- for young prayer warriors to arise
- for protection from the violence of Capricorn
- for wisdom and revelation of The Word
- for male leaders to come and serve alongside Meagan and Melanie - to support our young men
- for our Youth to see the value in serving the Lord - world versus Jesus vision - for sin to be tasteless and unappealing
- for our Believing Youth to be leaders in all aspects of their lives - making Matt 5:16 a reality "Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."
Other Areas:
- for hearts to soften & eyes to be unveiled to the Gospel - both in our church and in our lost community.
- for True Worshipers to be involved in the Body of Christ
- for local church leaders in Capricorn - that Truth will be preached
- for Revival amongst Believers in the community
- for a Spirit of wisdom & revelation - that an understanding of the Word & God's values would bring passion for the things of God
- growth in depth of faith - wanting Believers to take their faith to new levels with God
- for the age-gap in our congregation: young adults and elderly (not many represented). May all generations come & worship together!
- for consistency in commitment
- for International teams that come - that they would see the importance of the local church in Capricorn and support the work of the Kingdom. May teams never be a hindrance, but build up the goals and leaders of the local work. For future partnerships to come - that the Lord would ordain and guide and give all parties wisdom in His timing!
- for more leaders from our community - we're wanting locals to rise up and lead, making sustainable church-planting roots
- for a building of our own - to be able to grow wider and deeper, to have offices, space to do ministry during the day, educational programs, and many more uses for the community!
- for our future dreams in ministry - may God show us His dreams for our church and for us to have the obedience & courage to follow His lead
- for resources (tangible, financial and human resources) to do whatever's ahead. We know God will provide, but we're asking ahead of time!
Praying Ephesians 3:20-21, "Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen."
