Good Friday - Stations of the Cross

Today at Capricorn Community Church, we held an interactive Good Friday Service; our congregation was invited to walk a simplistic version of the Stations of the Cross.
We had 7 themes:
The Last Supper
Jesus in the Garden
Jesus Arrested and on Trial
Judas' Betrayal, Peter's Denial
The Cross
The Tomb
The Romans Road to Salvation

The children had an activity book that guided them through each station as well. It was a joy to watch the small children walk the important stages of Jesus' last moments before the Cross!

Pray for our community as they think about their relationship to Jesus and the Cross over the next few days. Pray also for the same people that walked through these stations to return on Sunday as we Celebrate Jesus' Resurrection!

The Cross: Everyone put a red-painted thumbprint on the wooden cross,
representing their sin nailed to the Cross

The kids worked through their Good Friday Activity books

The Romans Road - everyone walked through significant verses in Romans that
describe how we can have a relationship with Christ. There were also meditation prompts
with each verse that allowed prayer and contemplation.
