Welcome to Cape Town! Such spontaneous necessity! That's mission life. |

Touring the town. V&A Waterfront Market. Exploring the tourist spots. |
I love having visitors.
This week, I got a call from Kelsey Weeks on Monday night saying she needed to leave Zambia in order to comply with Visa challenges. By Tuesday afternoon, she and MJ were in my home in Cape Town. It was so nice to have conversations about ministry and Gods big plan. I'd just seen these two a few months ago while I was on mission in Zambia with them, so getting to see them and continue conversation was precious.
Visitors often bring a breath of fresh air. These gals certainly did that and more. It was nice to see my South African home through new eyes - to explain this place, to share my life and home!
As quickly as they came, they went. But before they flew back to America, I took them to my SA family's home for a Friday Night Braai (BBQ) and traditional meal. They met Meagan's family - mom, dad, sister, nephew, aunt, grandma, cousin. The whole crew! It's so nice to have a local family adopt you and take care of you AND YOUR VISITORS. Blessed!
Praying for the next steps of Luyando (www.luyando.org). May God order their steps and bring abundant joy to each season! Praying and thanking God as Paul did for Onesiphorus in 2 Tim 1:16 ... Lord, give mercy to the house of Luyando; for they often refreshed me...
Come back soon.
